The Medical Capital Is Going On the Road
Northeast Ohio is unlike any other region when it comes to its innumerable contributions to the healthcare industry. Yet, research shows that only 10% of the U.S. population associates the healthcare industry with our region.
To address this issue and to better promote this regional asset, the Cleveland Plus Marketing Alliance has worked with healthcare communicators across Northeast Ohio to raise awareness of our area’s healthcare-related strengths. Two Healthcare Communicators Summits have been conducted in the past two years, where communicators began forming a common message that positions Northeast Ohio as the Medical Capital. Mitchell Allen has been an active participant in the development of this initiative since the beginning and we’re delighted to help it come to life.
To further the effort, Cleveland Plus will be hosting the third Healthcare Summit on November 5, 2010. This Summit, however, will be unlike the others as we take the Summit on the road for a “Medical Capital Plus Bus” event.
The event will consist of a day-long chartered bus tour of Northeast Ohio, featuring stops at key healthcare-related locations and on-bus presentations by some of our industry’s important players. The Plus Bus will allow an anticipated 100 Summit attendees to experience first-hand the innovations taking place right here and meet some of the people making them happen.
