Mitchell Allen Group Wins Two ADDY Awards

Mitchell Allen has been recognized with two Bronze ADDY® Awards. Competing in the Cleveland American Advertising Federation (AAF) ADDY competition, the Cleveland-based advertising and marketing communications agency received Bronze awards for NaviGate “In an Instant” brochure that was created for Lauren Innovations and for “Open Your Mind” tradeshow video created for Tri Vantage.

A worldwide competition, the AAF ADDY Awards honor excellence in advertising and help cultivate the highest creative standards in the industry. The annual local awards presentation event was recently held at Doubletree Hotel in downtown Cleveland, Ohio.

Mitchell Allen received a Bronze ADDY for the NaviGate “In an Instant” brochure created for Lauren Innovations, a company dedicated to the development and enhancement of technologies and services that contribute to a safer, healthier and more secure world. The 32-page booklet promotes NaviGate, a web-based portal for managing operational functions as well as emergency incidents to a large range of end users in education, healthcare, manufacturing, transportation and more. To match this broad market and two primary capabilities, the brochure’s front and back pages were both front covers with each messaging directed at one of the audiences and each finishing the sale at the center spread.

Mitchell Allen received another Bronze ADDY for the “Open Your Mind” video created for Tri Vantage, an international supplier of specialty fabrics and hardware. The video complimented the Tri Vantage booth theme “Open your mind. Close more sales.” at the IFAI Expo. The booth message encouraged customers to open their minds to more product offerings, to more convenience with on-line resources, to new sales tools and to all the other opportunities surrounding them in the booth. To capture visitors’ imaginations, Mitchell Allen developed a video that everyone saw when entering the booth. Upon viewing, they actually saw themselves incorporated into the video. Encouraging them to ask more about how to grow their business. That is, if they were open to it.

The ADDY Awards are the advertising industry's largest and most representative competition, recognizing creative excellence and the very best advertising worldwide. With more than 60,000 entries, the ADDY Awards are the world’s largest advertising competition. The local ADDY Awards are the first stage in a three-tiered competition with the winners advancing to 14 district competitions and those winners proceeding to the national finals.
